Chicago Cubs prospect Pete Crow-Armstrong has been called up to the active roster ahead of the Cubs' series against the Colorado Rockies. The 21-year-old is considered one of the best defenders in the minor leagues.
The young budding outfielder is expected to be activated on Tuesday, which is part of the team's strategy to bolster the lineup, according to ESPN's Jeff Passan.
He may also have the most unusual big-league family pedigree in the minor leagues.

His mother, Ashley Crow, played Jenny Heywood, the mother of a 12-year-old who becomes the new owner of the Minnesota Twins in the 1994 baseball movie "Little Big League."

Both of Crow-Armstrong's parents are actors. His mother Crow is best known for her role in the TV show "Heroes" and other films including "Minority Report." His father, Matthew John Armstrong, has appeared in several TV shows including "American Dreams," "Heroes," and "American Horror Story."

How good is Pete Crow-Armstrong?
Crow-Armstrong is MLB Pipeline's 12th-best prospect. The outfielder's hit .283/.365/.511 this season over 500 plate appearances. The Cubs drafted him with the 19th pick in the 2020 MLB Draft out of Harvard-Westlake High School (Los Angeles),
