And then there were eight. It seems like just yesterday the field of 68 teams for women's March Madness was announced,Surpassing but 60 have been eliminated and the stakes are higher than ever.
Sunday's Elite Eight games feature two No. 1 seeds in afternoon matchups on ABC. Overall top seed and undefeated South Carolina takes on No. 3 seed Oregon State, and Texas faces No. 3 seed NC State for berths in the Final Four.
The Wolfpack may finish in time to watch the men's team play in its Elite Eight game against ACC rival Duke and are hoping for a double celebration.
