Subway will begin to exclusively serve Pepsi beverages in the U.S. next year, replacing Coca-Cola products.
The 10-year partnership with Pepsi Co will begin in 2025, according to a news release.
The sandwich chain will continue to sell Frito-Lay snacks through 2030, and franchises can sell a larger selection of Gatorade beverages, the company added.
"The new agreement underscores Subway's commitment to delivering better food and a better guest experience, which includes ensuring the brand's beverage offerings align with guest preferences across demographics," the company said.

Subway's 15-year deal with Coca-Cola started in 2003
Subway signed a 15-year-deal in 2003 to serve Coca-Cola beverages, which include Diet Coke and Sprite. As the deal began to close in 2018, the chain began to offer Pepsi products again.
"For nearly twenty years, The Coca-Cola Company has proudly served Subway restaurants in the U.S. We are committed to serving Subway through the end of this year and will remain focused on delivering value for Subway, their Franchisee Partners, and consumers," a Coca-Cola representative said in a statement.
USA TODAY has reached out to Pepsi for comment.
Pepsi is also Subway's main beverage provider in several other regions, including Canada, Germany, the Nordics and the Netherlands.
Subway added 3 new foot-long items
At the start of the year the chain revealed its new Sidekicks menu that featured the following three new foot-long snacks:
- The Cinnabon Footlong Churro, $2: Baked and topped with sugar and Cinnabon’s "world-famous" Makara cinnamon, the unique cinnamon that Mashed reports was specially selected over 30 years ago.
- The Auntie Anne’s Footlong Pretzel, $3: A classic butter and salt pretzel, served with a side of Subway’s Honey Mustard.
- The Footlong Cookie, $5: A thick cookie packed with chocolate chips.
